Laughter and Fun withTo Catch a Cat Thief

What happens when a 10-year-old and her exuberant hippie grandma go in search of missing cats? Plenty!

On November 9, Saskatchewan author Sean Cummings launched his humorous middle grade novel, To Catch a Cat Thief, at McNally Robinson Booksellers, Saskatoon. Family, friends, and fellow writers joined Sean to welcome this laugh-out-loud adventure onto bookshelves.

During the book blog tour that followed, bloggers reported oodles laughter in the pages. To Catch a Cat Thief garnered some great reviews. Readers say they enjoyed the spunk of main character Penelope, her hippie granny’s conspiracy theories, and the intriguing, hilarious way the worked together to solve the mystery of missing cats.

"This is by far one of the funniest books I have read this entire year. I'm being completely honest when I say I was literally shaking with laughter and fun at nearly every part in this book," writes Brandi Harrison on Brandi’s Books.

Congratulations to Sean for a job well done (and to Penelope for solving the mystery and reining in Grandma Bev)!
